TODAY, WE ARE

THE WORLD’S LARGEST ENTIRELY STUDENT-RUN 501(C)3 NON-PROFIT CORPORATION.

Students of Georgetown Inc., “The Corp,” is an entirely student-run nonprofit that seeks to enrich the student experience by providing quality goods, services, grants, and opportunities for experiential learning. We aim to respond to the Georgetown community’s changing needs and cultivate a socially conscious community that can fully embody the mantra of “Students Serving Students.”

WE EMBODY

FIVE COMPANY VALUES.

These five company values define not simply who we are, but who we hope to be in the future. They guide our decisions, motivate our projects, and allow us to understand why – and how – we serve.

1.

EMPOWER STUDENTS.

The Corp was founded to protect the rights of Georgetown students and the community at large. We aim to provide the educational, financial, and physical resources that will empower students to make the most out of their college experience.

2.

BE AN ENTREPRENEUR.

The Corp has opened and closed dozens of services since our founding in 1972. We aim to identify unmet campus needs, continually innovate, and maximize our contributions to the Georgetown community.

3.

BUILD BRIDGES.

The Corp exists to serve Georgetown. We strive to be a constructive campus presence, cultivate meaningful community relationships, and lend our voice to support student initiatives.

4.

LEARN BY DOING.

From general employees to Executive Staff, The Corp is entirely student-run. We strive to maintain our student-empowered identity and provide employees with the benefits of a distinctive hands-on business education.

5.

GIVE 110%.

Balancing coursework and shifts, we as Corp employees aim to commit ourselves fully to our work and do so by going above and beyond to serve the entirety of the Georgetown community in everything we do.
