Located on the second floor of Lauinger Library, The Midnight MUG is a great place to take a break from the textbooks and hang out with professors and friends. Offering a wide range of delicious coffee drinks, a variety of study snacks, school supplies and basic medicines, The Midnight MUG offers comfort during long nights at the library. Art Appreciation

During the school year, The Midnight MUG celebrates the artistic talents of Georgetown students by displaying student art and hosting concert events in the store. Be on the lookout for flyers and don’t miss out on the chance to see the awesome work of your fellow students!

Office Hours

Midnight MUG also provides the opportunity for professors to hold their Office Hours session at our coffee shop and allows attending students to enjoy a free drink and/or snack up to a $3.00 value during the hour-long session! Midnight Mug Office Hours program is possible this year due to the generous support of The Provost, The Mortara Center for International Studies, The McDonough School of Business, The School of Nursing and Health Studies, and Lauinger Library.

We’re open late every school night and even later during finals. So take a break, and hit the hottest spot in Lauinger. We have been making the library steamier since 2003.
