Dave Shevlin Director
Vital Vittles

Dave (MSB ’10) is an Operations & Information Management major from the wide state of Pennsylvania. He’s not from Philly. He’s not from Pittsburgh. He’s from the middle. After being hired to Vittles in the fall of his sophomore year, Dave’s three favorite activities quickly became The Corp, The Corp, and The Corp. When he’s not manning the Flagship, you can find Dave strumming on his guitar, traveling to Indianapolis to see the Hoyas bounce back and win the 2010 NCAA Championship, or training for his second Marine Corps Marathon. Although his post-graduation plans are nowhere near finalized, Dave is planning on starting a business - “Former Students of Georgetown, Inc.” - to keep the dream alive. Love Isn’t Extinct.

Shannon Goggin
Director
More Uncommon Grounds
Shannon (MSB ’10) was born and raised in Falmouth, Maine. Although she does not enjoy eating lobster, she often looks like one in the summer, a trait her friends find endearing and her dermatologist finds alarming. If Shannon could eat one food the rest of her life, it would be avocados, because they are the only fruit you can live off and thus the most practical and delicious choice. She’s currently majoring in Marketing and minoring in English, and upon graduation she plans to travel the world and mooch off her friends. Shannon enjoys making iced hot chocolates and solving Rubik’s cubes in less than three minutes. She was hired to MUG in the fall of her sophomore year and still hasn’t gotten fired!
Sam Crosby
Director
Hoya Snaxa

Sam (COL '10) is a proud ATLien, and he promises that Atlanta is not like the movie ATL.  Like most members of the College, he has no idea what he wants to do with his life, and he therefore is PreMed with a very recently declared Philosophy major.  This qualifies him to either go to med-school or wait tables.  When not learning organic chemistry, he is likely to be found perusing the aisle(s) of Hoya Snaxa in search of his afternoon or late-night snack, which most often ends up being a caffeine of some sort. All good southerners should have a driver, and Sam's is Kasey Kahne (#9).  Also, he also has an unhealthy love for the discovery channel.

Heather Gartin
Director
Uncommon Grounds

Heather (MSB ’11) is double majoring in Finance and Accounting. While she lives in Connecticut, the corner table at Uncommon Grounds is her second home. After being hired two weeks into her freshman year it was not long before making cappuccinos was second nature. You can often find Heather working the register or nursing her Corp induced caffeine addiction with an iced coffee. When she is not roaming around the Leavey Center, she enjoys cartwheels, bungee jumping, eating French fries and taking trips to Disney World. She hopes one day to retire in New Zealand and speak with an authentic English accent.

Kevin Suyo
Director
Student Storage

Kevin (SFS '11) hails from just outside of Philadelphia, and by "just outside" he means "a 45-minute drive."  After a brief but intense period in which he wanted to study architectural design, he became an International Economics major, where coherent penmanship is optional.  He was hired to MUG in the fall of his freshman year, and most days you can still find him there creating awe-inspiring italian soda flavor combinations and avoiding cream cheese.  As a result of an improbable chain of events in January of 2009, Kevin came into possession of a three-stringed ukulele, which he still does not know how to play.  He is excited to transition to Seasonal Services because it means he might be able to purchase a golf cart.

Justin Scott
Director
Midnight Mug

Justin Scott (COL '10) once ate a scorpion when he was a year old. He grew up in the 404 (Waffle House + Chick-Fil-A -- that's what's up) and will gladly rep his ville in a freestyle battle. Most of his boys call him "JSCOTT" so you will earn brownie points if you call him that. He's an English major with a certificate in African Studies, and he swears he's a feminist!

Justin recommends double chocolate chip muffins and large iced coffees with no cream or sugar, which make a really dope combination. But this is the kid that rolls his blueberry bagels around in the leftover garlic salt because "the real thing is just too intense" for him. So take him with a grain of salt.
