As the Corp's oldest and longest-lasting service, the Book Co-op was launched with the whole organization in 1972 as a way for students to sell their books and buy inexpensive used books from fellow students year-round.
Now the Book Co-op is a bi-annual event, accepting books at the end of each semester and selling those books at the beginning of the next semester. The Book Co-op is run by a director and a small upper management, and is staffed during collection and sales times by members of the other Corp services, so you might recognize cashiers from Vital Vittles or More Uncommon Grounds when you drop off or buy your books.
