About

2012 will celebrate The Corp’s 40th anniversary. We’re excited that we’ve been around for so long and that over the years, the Georgetown community has allowed us to take on bigger and better roles on campus. The Corp is now the largest student run business in the world. It’s a great achievement, but the best part is that it’s a statement to what the Georgetown community has grown to become. Our 40th birthday is testament to both a lasting and diverse community at Georgetown, as well as to the outstanding members of our body that seek to contribute to the Corp each and everyday. We can only stand out if the Georgetown community stands out too.

The Corp’s survival, through both good times and bad, has entirely been the result of the continuing support of the student body. By creating a blog, we seek to strengthen our connection with our community. That being said, Behind the Counter is dedicated to you, the hoya.  We aim to provide you with the tools to better grasp our work and understand our commitment to improving ourselves. Not only will you now have access to all things Corp, but our spotlights will also shine on the talents of hoyas everywhere. So learn, engage, discover what’s Behind the Counter.
